Display - Hoya to Build Photomask Plant

Hoya has stated that it plans to build a LCD photomask facility in Gyeonggido Province, Korea. The plant is scheduled to begin production in the second half of 2005.
A memorandum of understanding has been signed with the provincial government for the use of land, yet details have not been finalized. Hoya is proceeding with the set-up a subsidiary in the area in the second half of 2004.
